Juan is an Associate Attorney at Brown Law, PLLC, with broad experience litigating cases before the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Through these experiences, he developed keen legal research and writing skills as well as an appreciation and understanding of how judges think and how to find innovative and intelligent solutions to complex cases. These days, Juan manages the Firm’s special immigrant juvenile practice and the clients appreciate his ability to put their life stories into compelling, persuasive writings that assist them in presenting the best possible immigration case.
In law school, he was the Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Law Journal and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Brian Holeman at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Juan grew up in Puerto Rico and is a native speaker of both Spanish and English. He lives in Virginia with his wife, Kia, and is surrounded by close family in Maryland. He enjoys tennis and biking on weekends.
